Location: Dallmara, Tenpenny Hill, Thorrington, Essex
Acquired by recommendation, the client had already obtained planning permission on this project but was unhappy with construction details being put forward by other companies. As a demonstration of their flexibility of approach, Wright Ruffell (Sturricks) Ltd took over the design and build of the entire project.
The original bungalow is a traditional cavity wall construction which was extended to the front. The timber framed first floor was designed and constructed by Wright Ruffell Sturricks Ltd and includes a trussed rafter roof, slate roof and rendered exterior.
The client decided to complete the interior themselves, but Wright Ruffell (Sturricks) Ltd continue to offer advice and assistance where required.
